The following tools are what we use here at Pinoy Maritime and what we recommend you to use as well. I suggest that you make use of this tools as you find them necessary and bookmark this page for future reference.

Keyword Research

  • Market Samurai – there is no doubt about it, this is the most important, effective, and No. 1 keyword research tool that you must have. It is easy to use, has plenty of tutorials, and saves you a lot of time doing the keyword research manually.

  • Google Keyword Tools – A FREE tool from Google that you can use in your keyword research. You can sign in using your Gmail account. You can use its full functionality if you are signed in.

Email Subscription

  • AWEBER – Their service is the most efficient and user friendly that I have ever used. I’ve tried other email subscription service like Mailchimp and Benchmark Email, but they are not as good as AWEBER. If you want a real professionally managed opt-in email service and build your list safely and efficiently. Don’t think twice, go for AWEBER and nothing will go wrong.

Hosting

  • Bluehost – this is where I host Pinoy Maritime. I really like there professional service and the value they provide for your site. When the time comes that you will start your blog (and I suggest you do), look for bluehost and you can be rest assured that your website is in good hands.

  • HostGator – I have been using host gator for my other niche sites and the best thing I notice from them is the quick response they have whenever you contact their customer support. The only thing that makes you unhappy sometimes is that you have to arrange from their billing department all the transactions with regards to certain payments. Unlike in bluehost, everything is just a click of a button, less time consuming. But if you are looking for another option to host your site, consider HostGator as your second option.

Books

I love reading books, and the books listed here are the ones I have in my book shelve. I use them as reference.

  • The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich  – this book is full of information that you need to succeed. It is an eye-opener and teaches a lot of information how you can escape your 9 to 5 job and outsource your life. Tim Ferris also includes websites that you need; and shows you the step by step process how he succeed in his life so you can follow what he started. If you are eager to know how to start your business and how you can succeed in having one, this book is a must have for you.

  • Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity – this book from David Allen is a real life saver. I was the most disorganized person when it comes to emails, soft copies, anything about the web and digital files, but when I read this it blows my mind. He teaches how you can synchronize your office files, projects, and other stuff. and be able to work systematically. Whether you are in the office,at the airport or even traveling, as long as you follow David’s system you can work online and offline in an organize manner. All the system he teaches are adopted by Managers, CEO, and applicable to all types of jobs. This should be included in your arsenal of books.

  • Pregnancy Miracle™ – Cure Infertility and Get Pregnant Naturally – for those married couples who are struggling to have a baby and frustrated on what to do, this book is the right one for you. Me and my wife experienced that and the information in this book helps a lot. Lisa Olson (the author) will guide you on the do’s and don’ts in order to conceive a baby, and the proper food that you should have. In addition to that, you can email her for more questions and she answers back to guide you through the process.
