Over the years, there had been a number of shipwrecks that took place all over the world.

With all the damages and great inconveniences that shipwrecks have caused, many people from different walks of life learn from this tragic experience.

Based from every survivor’s experience, there are a few thoughts that we have pondered and greatly considered.

Aside from the heartaches that each shipwreck has caused people, shipwrecks also gives us lessons to learn that will help make us into better person.

Lesson #1

It is important to be very careful and vigilant in doing our every action.

We must be aware of the result of every action that we do, which can either do good or put another persons life at risk.

By being careful, we tend to lessen the possibilities of shipwrecks.

“Safety First” is the primary objective while onboard the ship.

Lesson #2

It is important not to panic in the event of an emergency.

In any emergency situation, we should not panic because this will only turn our situations into worst.

When we panic, we become so uptight and our minds are not able to focus well with the current situation.

In panic, we have the tendency to make irrational decisions which can certainly never make us any better.

Lesson #3

It is important to be always prepared to face any situation.

We have learned that preparation is one of the major keys to survival. When we are fully prepared, we can easily comprehend any situation, wherein we are able to face them properly.

With good preparation, we are able to handle or deal with all the obstacles that come into our lives. Since, nothing always beats a well-prepared man.

Lesson #4

It is important to make room for improvements.

Just like after a shipwreck, we should always learn to improve in order for us to go through with our lives.

We should open ourselves for improvement in order for us to become a better person.

When we try and aim to make improvements, we tend to become responsible and reliable for the things that we have done. Through improvements, we are able to change our bad habits.
